With a treatment capacity of 395 or 790 gallons per day depending on options selected, the MICRO30 decontamination system has been designed to secure and facilitate your laboratory operations.
Its operation is very similar to that of the MICRO model with a bigger treatment capacity.
This compact unit, fully operational as soon as plugged, meets the most stringent decontamination standards, allowing highly secure decontamination and containment of your biowaste effluent.

Decontamination
- Capacity: up to 395 gallons per day with standard unit and up to 790 gallons per day with double batch option
- Heat treatment:
- 275°F for 2 min. (adjustable) – F0 50
- or 250°F for 20 min. – F0 20
- Decontamination tank: 1.2-gallon (possibility to double with a second decontamination tank)
- 60-gallon effluent collecting tank
- Automatic start of treatment cycles according to the level of effluent
- Validation of the treatment temperature and efficiency by sensors and temperature control in several points including the coldest point
- Ensured containment of contaminated effluent with enhanced safety devices
- Continuous operation thanks to the collecting tank located before the kill tank so as not to have to stop the use of the unit during the treatment cycle

- Patented plug-and-play unit
- Components: storage tank with safety valve and vent filter, batch decontamination tank and heat exchanger with energy recovery section

- Fully automatic operation: monitoring desk for monitoring and automatic recording of cycles by the PLC
- Energy recovery section to cool effluent at the outlet without additional refrigerant and save energy, cost and time (for instance electricity consumption reduced by 75%)
- Easy maintenance: the decontamination tank (or the 2 decontamination tanks if the option is selected) is built on racks that can be pulled out to carry out maintenance
- Cooling located after the decontamination tank which saves energy since there is no need to heat and then cool the decontamination tank
- Fully automatic operation: monitoring desk and automatic recording of cycles by PLC (self diagnosis programs included)
- Gravity drainage
- Sealed unit: the buffer tank and treatment section is inside the system
- Leak detection system: alarms and optional visual control with transparent viewing panels
- Automatic stop of the effluent discharge in case of an energy failure

Upgradability:
- Version #1 (standard): one decontamination tank to treat up to 395 gallons per day
- Version #2 (option): two decontamination tanks to treat up to 790 gallons per day
- Possibility to add an external storage tank (60 gallons)
